I’m Claire—founder, owner, content creator, and the creative Virtual Assistant behind VAngel, providing business support services to small business owners across Poole, Bournemouth, Ferndown, and West Moors.
I’m a country girl living on the South Coast of England, just 15 minutes from the nearest beach and never more than a five-minute walk from woodlands. The woods and water are my happy places, where I recharge and find inspiration.
I’ve been happily married for 15 years, have three wonderful children (a son and two daughters), and share my home with two cats.
Before launching my business, I was a lawyer specialising in conveyancing, a field I worked in for 10 years. But in 2020, life changed forever. After being furloughed for over seven months, I had plenty of time to reflect on what I truly wanted—more freedom, more flexibility, and more time with my family.
The traditional 9-5 life wasn’t for me, so in 2022, I launched VAngel. I took the leap into the Virtual Assistant industry, not knowing where the journey would take me—but I never looked back!
My superpower is helping small business owners build the best version of their business while designing a life with more time, consistency, and freedom. Over the years, I worked for companies where my impact wasn’t fully appreciated, but now, I get to support entrepreneurs daily and truly make a difference.
I’ve learned I thrive behind the scenes—making sure operations run smoothly, admin tasks are handled efficiently, and everything looks professional and polished. My purpose is to help like-minded business owners streamline their workload, so they can focus on growth, creativity, and doing what they love.
This work fires me up because I see first-hand how it impacts lives, businesses, and families.
Building a business that aligned with my values and lifestyle gave me clarity on who I am and my mission as a business owner. I built VAngel with the goal of providing efficient, stress-free business support to entrepreneurs in Dorset and beyond.
Now, I take the overwhelm away from clients, giving them the back-end support they need to run their business efficiently and effectively.
